Our website is designed to provide you with the essential information on these services, access to our current database of jobs for which we are actively seeking professionals, and an Art School Report on the latest fashion graduates.

Current users of Indesign’s recruitment services have been issued with direct access links to view our Recruitment Newsletter which gives details of experienced professionals seeking new positions or challenges.

All candidates recommended by Indesign have been interviewed in person.

OUR SERVICES

  • DESIGNER PLACEMENT

Indesign provides the ideal service for recruiting fashion designers to fill vacancies in design studios using our unique records of professionals built up over 35 years.

Fees are based on 20% of the total annual remuneration for UK clients and are payable on placement. For international clients, this fee is 25%.

  • DESIGNER SEARCHES

Indesign undertakes searches to pinpoint the right talent for the most exacting UK and international design positions. Confidentiality is often a prime factor and Indesign has an enviable reputation in this respect.

Fees are based on 25% of the total remuneration and are payable in three tranches – the first on commencement, the second on short-listing and third on placement. Both of the first two tranches are non-refundable.

  • EXECUTIVE SEARCH

Indesign provides a fresh approach to international executive searches seeking out senior management with a passion for lifestyle and fashion products.

Fees are based on 30% of the total remuneration and are payable in three tranches - the first on commencement, the second on short-listing and third on placement.

  • FREELANCE PLACEMENT

Indesign has a selected list of highly talented freelance designers for urgent and difficult to fill roles.

We are also very experienced in finding the right talent for maternity cover and other short term contracts.

Fees are based on 25% of the total remuneration payable during the completion of the contract, or within the first year.

  • GRADUATE PLACEMENT

Indesign’s annual Art School Report is primarily designed as an aid to help talented fashion graduates get their first job in the fashion world. However some of Indesign's recruitment clients find it convenient to use our services for graduate placements, rather than contacting the Art Schools direct.

Fees are based on 10% of the total annual remuneration and are payable on placement. This special rate is available only until the end of the graduation year. New subscribers will be charged £80 for the report and the quarterly newsletters.

  • INDESIGN ART SCHOOL REPORT - 45TH EDITION - GRADUATES 2016
    45th Issue

Many congratulations to Graduate Fashion Week on their 25th Anniversary.  Iain R Webb has produced a very handsome publication to coincide with this anniversary.  We are pleased to have been able to help with this book, which includes Julie Verhoeven’s illustrations from the Indesign Art School Report from 25 years ago.  As this is the 45th issue of the report we were 20 years ahead of them.

The Graduate Fashion Week venue at the Truman Brewery is now established as the ideal place for the shows which this year were both impressive and created a great deal of enthusiasm.  The productions were particularly sophisticated and captured the mood and spirit of all the new talent. This should translate into the jobs that will be the best start for the graduates’ careers.  The Universities are to be congratulated on the great effort they have put in to make all this possible.

From a practical employment situation it is clear that, with the tutors’ strong professional backgrounds, the students are now in a good position to find the right first job.
